There are opportunities to work toward a sustainable and affordable energy system, but the political debate about the energy transition often gets bogged down in polarized debates. As the Scientific Institute of the ChristenUnie, we have spent the past year examining the energy system of the future with the help of consulting firm Quo Mare. This process yielded three insights that transcend political differences and can therefore move the debate forward.
